Bob has served on the Poudre Heritage Alliance Board (PHA) for nearly a decade, over five years as the Chair of the Board, then Vice Chair, and at large board member. Bob enjoys being a part of the educational process that allows future generations to understand the value of our watershed.

The Poudre Heritage Alliance serves the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area to build a deeper understanding of the Poudre River’s national significance, including its role in influencing water law, development, and management.

“What I appreciate most about our programs are the field trips we facilitate for school children. These experiences will inspire conservation and forge stronger connections to nature and our shared river history. When students see the river for themselves at a young age, it can help them grow up appreciating having the Cache la Poudre River in their backyard.”
